INCLUSIVE AUGUST POP UP SESSION!

Accessible Trails around the Wild

Sunday August 16th

10:30am- 11:30am

at Leonard R. Pierce Memorial Park

This inclusive session is thoughtfully designed for children
of all abilities. Through sensory exploration, slow-paced nature play, and creative activities inspired by the land snail,
families are invited to experience the outdoors in a
welcoming and supportive environment.

What will the session look like?

Create Your Snail & Sensory Shell

Upon arrival, children will be welcomed to a table with simple materials to create their own snail and “shell,” using soft textures and nature-inspired elements.

Snail Trails & Sensory Stations

Once Explorers and Guides have settled in, we will begin constructing tents and decorating with natural materials. We can make different size shelters for kids and critters.

Read Aloud/Snack/Stamps & Stickers/ Nature Neighbor Cards

We’ll come together at the end for a relaxed read aloud, snack, and time to wind down. Children will receive their Nature Neighbor card, along with stamps and stickers to send them off.
