Songs of the Season

Sunday September 20th

What will the session look like?

Create a Nature Instrument

Upon arrival, children will be welcomed to a table with natural materials to create their own simple instruments using sticks, seed pods, and found objects.

Snail Trails & Sensory Stations

Throughout the session, children can move between open-ended stations including a bang-and-clang sound area, message sending through rhythm, and quiet listening moments to hear the sounds of the season. children are invited to explore sound through nature—tapping, shaking, and listening as we discover how crickets “sing” and communicate.

Read Aloud/Snack/Stamps & Stickers/ Nature Neighbor Cards

We’ll come together at the end for a relaxed read aloud, snack, and time to wind down. Children will receive their Nature Neighbor card, along with stamps and stickers to send them off.
