About Me

Hi, I’m Morgan—though some of my favorite people know me as Mrs. Preston. I’m a former elementary and special education teacher, certified to work with children from birth through sixth grade in New York State.

After becoming a mom in 2022, I knew I wanted to create something that allowed me to spend more meaningful time outdoors with my children. While expecting my second son, I decided it was time to bring that vision to life.

FLOE was born from a love of childhood, nature, and the kind of learning that happens through hands-on exploration. It’s a space where children can slow down, get messy, and discover the world around them in their own way.

Our mission is to foster a love of learning, curiosity and the outdoors in your little ones, through meaningful and creative outdoor play opportunities.

“A creative education has the power to catapult children into a lifetime of curiosity.”

About FLOE

Our sessions are thoughtfully designed to give children the freedom to explore, create, and discover at their own pace. There are no rigid schedules or one-size-fits-all activities—just open-ended, nature-based experiences that invite curiosity and connection.

Some children may spend the entire session building with sticks. Others may move between water play, sensory exploration, and quiet observation. Every experience is valid, and every child is supported in engaging in their own way.

Through weekly sessions in a welcoming outdoor environment, FLOE helps families slow down, get outside, and create meaningful moments together.
