Welcome Activity

Create a nature crown & wand:

Upon arrival you will be welcomed to a table with supplies to create your own nature crown and wand! Collect leaves and nature items to decorate.

Decorate a Lantern for the Lantern Walk

Once Explorers and Guides have settled in and completed their crowns & wands, we will create and decorate your own lantern for the annual lantern walk. (The lantern walk will be at 5:30pm on the same day the 15th!)

Our feature creature is a Firefly! 💡

Read Aloud/Snack/Stamps & Stickers/ Feature Creature Cards

As always, Explorers are the leaders. Wherever play takes them is where we go! We will finish with a read aloud, fun snack, stamps, stickers and of course our beloved feature creature cards!

Then return later in the evening for our second annual community lantern walk! Hot chocolate/cider will be served along with some treats. Come help illuminate the night!
