SUMMER SESSION 1!
BUBBLE JOY! 🫧
Wednesday June 4th
10:30am- 11:30am
at Leonard R. Pierce Memorial Park
What will the session look like?
Welcome Activity
Search for the perfect wand:
Upon arrival Explorers will be encouraged to find the perfect stick to make a bubble wand with.
Read Aloud
Once Explorers and Guides have settled in, we will read our book.
Introduce the Feature Creature
Our Feature Creature is a Dolphin, a creature who lives in the ocean and breathes through a blowhole on top of its head. This creature communicates with friends by making sounds like clicks and whistles!
Bubble Making
Using our bubble wands we created, we will also create our own bubble solution and explore different ways to make bubbles! Science has shown us that there are patterns to what make us feel joyful, including bright colors, stirring music, time in nature, and things that are round. Playing with round bubbles outdoors is an ideal way to inspire joy.
Free Play/Snack/Stamps & Stickers
As always, Explorers are the leaders. Wherever play takes them is where we go! Would love to include Mud Play at the end if time and weather permits. And of course, we love our snack time with stamps and stickers to send off!
