SUMMER SESSION 4!
Catching Colors 🌈🦅
Wednesday June 25th
10:30am- 11:30am
at Leonard R. Pierce Memorial Park
What will the session look like?
1. Welcome Activity
Create your binoculars and decorate your own eagle feather!
2. Introduce the Feature Creature
Our Feature Creature is an Eagle! Eagles can see 4 to 5 times farther than humans. Bald eagles have over 7,000 feathers!
3. Nature Color Walk & Nature Painting
Using their binoculars, kids will go on a nature walk to try to find all the colors of the rainbow in nature. They will collect colors and add them to their color hunt cards. Then using items from nature (and some provided natural items) they will get water from the creek and mash and mix their own different color paints to use!
4. Read Aloud/Snack/Stamps & Stickers
As always, Explorers are the leaders. Wherever play takes them is where we go! To close out our session, we will read a story and enjoy our snack time with stamps, stickers, and feature creature cards!
